Making Quizzes - How do my students take the quiz? | How do I review and analyze scores?
Making quizzes on MrNussbaum.com Premium is very easy. You can make multiple choice quizzes, true and false quizzes, short answer quizzes, or super quizzes! The quizzes can be deployed for students to complete online! The system takes care of all of the scoring and statistics.
1.) First, click on the "quizzes" tab in the control menu. You will see a section labeled "My Registered Quizzes". Once you register a quiz, it will appear under that heading. Next, scroll to the "Register New Quiz" section. Enter the title for your quiz, the subject, and then the type of quiz. Use the drop-down menu to choose from short answer, true and false, multiple choice, or super quiz. A super quiz is one in which you can use all three question types in one quiz. Next, choose the number of questions you plan to ask. Finally, you must set the percentage score that constitutes each letter grade. For example, in the field labeled "A," you may put 90. This means all scores of 90 percent and above will be assigned the grade "A" in the gradebook. When you are finished click "submit" (see below). You will next build the questions and answers.

2.) Now it is time to build the questions and answers. After you submit, a new page will load. Scroll down to "Define Quiz Elements". Select the quiz you just registered from the drop-down menu. Again, a new page will load. Scroll to "Define Quiz Elements," for a second time, and you will see the template for building your quiz. See below for demonstrations on how to construct each quiz.

It is important to note that your quiz will be added to the public quiz archive, viewable by all teachers. How do my students take the quiz?
After you have completed constructing your quiz, and have deployed it to students it is ready for use. The student will log on as a school user and click on "quizzes" in the control menu. When the page is accessed, the student will be able to see a gradebook page of all the quizzes he or she has completed. The student does not have access to the grades of other students. Below the gradebook is a section called "Take Quiz". The student should then select the quiz to be taken from the drop-down menu. You should tell the student the name of the quiz. After the student is done with the quiz, he or she should click "submit". The grade will automatically appear in the student and teacher gradebook, along with the other statistics in "Recorded Scores". Below is a student view of the quizzes page.
